Coopernook State Forest to Lane Cove River Tourist Park
Today we packed up the caravan after an unsatisfying breakfast of nutria-grain and proceeded to drive for a bout 2 hours until we found this shop that had Subway on one end and another food place in the same building (I think the road house was better than Subway). After a huge lunch of chicken fillet burger and chips we left and drove down the Pacific Highway and trough some amassing cuttings in the hill for the road to go through (several hundred pounds of explosives later). At one really long cutting later we were going down a steep hill and across a bridge, the entire experience was amazing for me (Sarah had her head in a book all this time so she missed all this, her loss not mine). After flying down the hill and across the bridge a a million miles an hour we drove through some more cuttings which were not as amazing but still pretty good, we drove into the city and proceeded to try and find our way to the caravan park and thinking that we survived Melbourne we could survive Sidney, we were very wrong, no-one drove the someway as in Brisbane or Melbourne. Needless to say we were way out of our depth aside from being the only 4 wheel drive on the road. finally after almost missing our turnoff we found our caravan park and set up. When we had found our nearest toilets and BBQ set off to buy our making for dinner. when we had finished shopping I was all too happy to leave, go home and have dinner (crazy shoppers!!). For dinner we had chicken and veggies with rice.
